This week we discuss the short story Nur-I-Desht Observatory by Ivan Yefremov from the Red Star Tales collection of Soviet science fiction. We are joined by friend of the show and creative director of the Monadnock Underground Chris DiLoreto.

We take on the meaning of science, the nature of science fiction, and whether a story about Thomas Jefferson with access to a train would constitute as a science fiction novel.
