This week we are introduced to a topic we were extremely excited to discuss by one of our favorite guests: Doug Nelson. We discuss "The Kingfish" Huey P. Long, a 3rd positionist politician from between the two World Wars who massively increased the standard of living for the working poor of his home state of Louisiana as governor. He had a meteoric rise to prominence in the national politics of the Great Depression and butted heads with everyone from J.D. Rockefeller to FDR and unsurprisingly was assassinated in 1935.
