Now, how do you unlock the zone?
1. Have a foundation. Experience (direct or indirectly through reading and mentorship)
Sometimes you don’t need to know anything underlying, but the chart will give you an idea of what is happening
2. Accept that losing money is just tuition, not punishment. You can be in the zone and still be wrong.
Now that sounds counterintuitive. But I’ve lost some dollars on this adventure for 2 different reasons.
Not knowing enough.
And now, knowing enough but going against what would make the most sense
Either by thinking something is an exception OR not trusting yourself
3. Release
Physical and mental tensions
Physical - exercise, stretch, proper nutrition and rest
Mental - forget previous losses, detach from emotions (greed, fear, pride), execute with confidence.
I can’t express enough how great a feeling it is, and you can unlock it too.
Whatever your trading plan is, make sure it’s sound and focus on working on your mental fortitude.
