Price generally moves in trends
Stocks in a particular class or sector tend to move in trends too. Almost simultaneously.
If FB has a good day, 9 times out of 10 so does Snapcaht and Pinterest.
If American Airlines has a bad day, typically Jetblue, Southwest and other airlines follow.
But what happens when a stock in a particular sector or group moves in contrast to the broader movement of its brethren stocks.
Using this signal when trading may present opportunities to enter or red flags to exit
It can serve as a screen for your watchlist when looking for future plays.
