Description

This show features local Denver comedians talking about anything and everything within the Colorado comedy scene. We hope to create a space where people can say whatever they want, and we are not a success until we have someone lose their job at SNL. This week on the podcast we have two returning guests, Ali Kareem and Damon Howard. The episode opens with some big questions and everyone bonds over a love for U2. Damon announces his new catchphrase and Ali admits that he might not be the greatest roast comic. Ali tells his comedy journey of starting in Omaha, and then he makes an announcement about T-town and his future in Denver. Evan asks about Ali's DVD sales in Iraq, and it leads to a discussion about how his life changed & evolved throughout time in Iraq with shifting governments and US military involvement. Ali shares the importance of feeling safe, and when surrounded by death, being able to laugh is invaluable. Damon and Ali both discuss the difficulty of talking with white people and that leads to the discovery of a new show favorite, "Racist, Sexist Boy!". We do a few submitted voicemails, one of which from Mr. Trump, and another teaches us how Islam keeps away the booty warriors. Ali does a few animal impressions, we learn about "the master of the pause", the guests play a few games, & the episode ends with a few news stories. Throughout the show, we break down jokes, tell stories from the local scene and discuss all of the important things happening all around the world. The hosts Evan Fitzgerald and Dylan Kantor had a great time with these guests and would like to thank them for coming by the studio!
