On today's epsiode I am absolutely delighted to introduce an inspiring and dedicated pharmacist who I consider a role model within our profession, Mrs Sarah Cavanagh. Sarah has nearly 30 years of healthcare and teaching experience in the NHS, the private, the academic and the voluntary sectors, in the UK and overseas. She starts her pharmacy career as a Medicines Information (MI) pharmacist, a role which she knew she would love and the career pathway she knew she wanted to pursue long term. She has dedicated most of her pharmacy career to medicines information services, starting as a specialist pharmacist and working her way up to Deputy Director with East Anglia Medicines Information Services, and now a national role as the Deputy Director of Medicines Use & Safety at SPS
Her most recent project has been her involvement with the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association Global Health Fellowship Program which I discuss in detail in Episodes 9, 14 and 15 of the podcast. I look forward to hearing about Sarah's next adventure! I really hope you enjoy this episode and all the stories Sarah kindly shares with us.
