Martha is a fully bilingual Miami native of Cuban descent and the daughter of a Cuban political prisoner who lived six years in Venezuela. She is a 4th generation farmer currently growing hemp on her farm in Miami-Dade. Martha is a community councilwoman in Miami and is the Vice Chair of the Miami-Dade County Libertarian Party. She is the founder of Florida Genetics Center Hemp Farm and two successful e-tailers, Vetamerica.com and Pureformulas.com. In 2011, PureFormulas ranked 97th among the 500 fastest growing companies in the US, according to Inc. Magazine. Today PureFormulas remains one of the leading online retailers of health supplements and organic products.
