The demons are smart. Remember that they were men of renown in the old ages but are now disembodied beings with no love lost for anyone including their master, the devil looking for unoccupied vessels (people) to possess. Have you ever left a meeting or a retreat feeling like you’ve finally got a grip on holiness or that you’ve left that nasty habit behind you only to find yourself gradually or rapidly going neck deep into the them after you leave that righteous atmosphere? It happens and will still take place until we call out & defeat the demons that perceive our destinations of consecration and stay back to wait for our return so they can repossess us and continue their havoc. God forbid, we take charge now and we win.
