Martyrdom is such a Scary idea and the name, Martyr, is such a no go title for a millennial Christian. Who wants to be clubbed to death, thrown from a high rise building, set ablaze, fed to wild animals, raped & tortured, beheaded, thrown into a snake pit or locked away to rot on account of their believe in the Lord Jesus? We all would rather be Raptured or wouldn’t we? As comfortably as making the rapture might sound, there are Christians that are being killed today, even in Northern Nigeria for their faith and they’ll be Christians that will still be killed for the sake of the Gospel and that time might not be too far away from now.
