Cherrish Pryor didn’t know that she wanted to work in politics when she was younger. Now, she’s a Democratic representative to the Indiana House of Representatives. In this episode, Cherrish reflects on how her family members – especially her grandmother – inspired her career goals at a young age. Their dedication to getting people registered to vote in rural Mississippi helped Cherrish to explore what a meaningful career meant to her, even though she didn’t realize that’s what she was doing at the time.
