Description

On today's episode, I sit down with Providence College's VP and Director of Athletics, Bob Driscoll. Bob is approaching his 20th year as the head of the Friars. He has transformed and reinvigorated Providence College’s athletics program. He has established a vision of student-athlete success in the classroom and in the community while competing for championships, Driscoll maintains focus on leading, fostering and mentoring one of the nation’s most respected athletic program. I was able to witness this first hand during my time as a student-athlete at the college. We get to talking about what college athletics is like during this pandemic, how he's communicated with his organization to make sure they're all in the know. We also talk about mental health in student-athletes and why that's important for institutions to recognize.
