In this episode we had the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Dave Collins, who is a professor and researcher at the University of Alberta in the faculty of Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation. His research focuses on the neural control of human movement. His current research topics are: control properties of single motor units, reducing fatigue of contractions produced by neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), and strengthening corticospoinal pathways using neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES).
