Jason started Bourbon Moth Woodworking in 2014, building commissioned, high-end custom furniture for his clients. However, the COVID-19 pandemic slowed his ability to meet with clients, halting his business. Nevertheless, Jason continued to build pieces independently, documented the process, and posted on YouTube. By the end of the lockdowns, his channel amassed over 500,000 subscribers, and his reliance on commissioned work was a thing of the past.
