Violinist Sharla Franklin is a powerhouse. If you see live music in DFW you probably have seen Sharla play. At the time of this interview Sharla was in 20 active bands with a few more in the works. Sharla is a true genre-bender playing both fiddle and violin and has a goal of learning all genres of the violin. As it is she plays country, rock, Irish, Classical, she plays in tribute bands and space aged futuristic music as well.We talk about her mormon upbringing and follow her musical history.
