In the United States, we have a holiday called Christmas. Christmas is the time that mainstream America celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. As wonderful a celebration as that is, it is only the BEGINNING of the story. The fact of the matter is, if Jesus had not died and risen again, we would not have anything to celebrate.
It is because of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection that we can have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. When we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved (Rom. 10:9). When we receive Jesus - i.e., make Him our Lord, He comes to lives inside of us, and we can keep our Christmas celebration going all year long!
See, CHRIST = The Anointed One and His Anointing.
MAS = Celebration.
Therefore, CHRISTMAS = Celebration of the Anointed One and His Anointing.
When we make Jesus our Lord, Christ lives inside us, and it becomes the Celebration of the Anointed One and His Anointing IN ME! We can celebrate Christmas all year! All because of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection!
