Thank you for joining Sweet T and Saif on this lovely journey back to Colorado. While it's obvious that South Park is a satirical series, Saif simply can't get over the construction paper presentation (1:24). T finds company in the brilliance of Trey Parker and Matt Stone and how they have built themselves up while always being ahead of the game (3:39). Saif recognizes that the creators get away with a lot by using a child's perspective (8:13). T believe that education through media is possible (10:27) and highlights Mr. Garrison and Randy Marsh as characters to be learned from, not necessarily looked up to (16:40). The cultural relevance of the show looms large, with Trey and Matt having won countless awards and also being the target of a Fatwa (18:57). The creators force the audience to look in the mirror and have a real conversation that will hopefully lead to real change (24:36), but at the very least, education (28:28).
