Description

This week's episode shines a light on how humans view one another based on superficial traits, I.E. perception. Saif starts off by checking in on T (0:41) before looking at a few examples of things people might observe that would contribute to the way they see another individual, such as music, behaviors, clothes, etc. (3:10). Next, our hosts ponder where we fit in and what the meaning of life is (8:19) before talking about  some of T's specific behaviors and the importance of slowing down to breathe occasionally (15:13). T reminds the listeners of our place in the universe and that we all will die eventually (18:54). Saif notes that he is willing to be part of the ongoing human experiment in the interest of learning and evolving (24:36). They both note that tribalism is still very real, while T admits he'd never felt like he had a place to call home and the effects that's had on him (29:28). This has led to a lot of regretful decisions in the interest of survival, but also many insightful life lessons (36:25). Our hosts answer a question from a listener and offer a reward if they can help T (40:50). Things finally shift off of T as he flips the script and asks Saif how he views himself. He offers some simple life advice as well, like thanking those who have helped you succeed (45:45). Every day begins with a set of choices, and it's up to each individual to decide how much gasoline they want to pour on this fire that's been burning since the world was turning (47:56).
