Needing to miss a meeting or reschedule is understandable. Situations come up where spur of the moment travel is key to support a client and their needs.
However, flights are typically known as least two+ hours in advance of the actual flight. So cancelling a meeting 5 minutes before it starts, or just not showing up is unacceptable and rude. Both sides have schedules that are important.
