Tecca Kilmer and Kim Gerlich are middle school physical education teachers at Turkey Creek Middle School in Plant City, Florida.
Tecca has served Southern District on the Leadership council, the Southern District Advocacy Committee, and the Southern District LMAS state coordinator chair. She is also a Past-President of SHAPE Florida. She represented SHAPE America as one of the TOY’s that was invited to work with NASA to develop Train Like an Astronaut curriculum/materials.
Kim has served on numerous committees for SHAPE Florida and Southern District. She has been teaching for 33 years and has certifications in the following areas: Elementary Education (Grades 1-6), English of Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL/Endorsement), Health (Grades K-12), Mentally Handicapped (Grades K-12), and Physical Education (Grades K-12).
Kim and Tecca love to laugh. Longtime co-workers, you can sense their enthusiasm and energy.
