Toni Leo has had a storied career in physical education and coaching. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education from University of Montevallo and her Master’s degree in Physical Education from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She served for 29 years as MS/HS Physical Educator, Health Educator, Dance Educator and Coach at 8 schools where she coached volleyball, basketball, tennis and archery AND was the choreographer of 5 musicals and show choir.
Toni also worked with the Alabama State Department of Education as the Health and Physical Education Specialist and retired from public education in 2013.
In her "retired" life, Toni has worked and/or volunteered for the Alabama Sports Foundation, the American Red Cross, the Alabama Sports Festival Foundation, HEAL United, and the Hoover archery range. Additionally, she is an adjunct instructor for the University of Alabama - Birmingham (UAB).
