Brent has a distinguished career in Health Education/Health Literacy and serves the profession in a number of leadership roles. Brent's background includes receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Samford University and his PhD in Health Education and Health Promotion from UAB.
Currently, Brent is a Professor at California State University, Stanislaus and is the President of Western District SHAPE America.
