This week we are joined by Veronica Williams to discuss both the recent and decades-long problems within The Bachelor franchise regarding the BIPOC community. Our conversation is centered around the racist and insensitive social media behavior of Rachael Kirkconnell, of Matt James's season of The Bachelor. We also address Chris Harrison's inflammatory interview with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay including his gaslighting of Lindsay regarding the severity of Kirkconnell's actions. We also dive into broader topics about racism, being Black in America, and our current problems with watching The Bachelor considering all of the racial problems, as well as vetting problems, that have been present for years.
