And to think I was having a bit of a mental block today, as far as content goes... I should've tackled this classic ages ago. John Singleton broke so many barriers with this directorial debut, and for damn good reason. The fact that this still hits on so many levels in today's society speaks so many volumes for me. I don't think I've ever appreciated this movie as much as I do these days. Enjoy, folks.
