Director Fede Alverez has had my respect from the very beginning when he came out with the Evil Dead remake in 2013... So when he followed up with Don't Breathe, he showed horror and thriller audiences that he can do both practical splatter horror and very suspenseful thriller on screen. The guy gets it. But he's now taking a backseat and giving the keys to a new director whom he's worked with a lot. I'm all for it, and am curious to see who's got The Blind Man fucked up this time, because everybody seems to in these movies. Enjoy, y'all.
