So I finally caved in and gave this one a fair shot... Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love James Wan as a director, especially as a horror creative. But y'all know I just cannot get with the Insidious/Conjuring/Annabelle bullshit. It's just not my type of horror at all. But since I was told this isn't what I think it is, I ripped it off like a band-aid and sat my hype ass down for a watch. I will say this, I almost fully gave up hope but stuck with it. And why I stuck with it becomes fully evident as the third act plays out. That's all I'm saying. Enjoy, folks.
