When it comes to guilty pleasure movie franchises, Resident Evil has always been one of my favorites... Sure, they stray FAR from the tone and overall layout of the original games, but they damn sure are entertaining to watch in a silly way. So when news broke of this reboot, I understood why it was happening and was very curious. The trailers didn't have me too sold on anything but the horror atmosphere, but that's a big start considering these movies had been more action than anything. So I saddled up and strolled into Raccoon City to see if this could turn me around enough to praise it. Enjoy, folks.
