There's even the most hated third entries in this genre that I have lots of love for... Scream 3, Child's Play 3, Halloween III, etc. And something about every third go round is supposed to come full circle and channel back to the first, for more nostalgic purposes. But THESE? Absolutely not. These are the pick of the litter that made studios and creators head straight back to that drawing board, and think about what they've just done wrong. Kind of like when a bad child gets sent to their room for particular behavoir. Not only are these third entries bad, but they're such a slap in the face as far as the previous two go. Enjoy, people.
