I had a very interesting conversation with Pat Ezzell, best known as the TVA historian but a woman who wears many hats. I wanted to have this conversation because I was initially fascinated by these bygone communities that disappeared with the creation of the TVA dam systems but quickly realized there was a bigger takeaway to be had.
