Jonny is a singer and musician in Denver, Colorado. He grew up in Philadelphia, and attended an all-boys Catholic school. His life has been marked by different spheres of White and Black people, and talks about floating between the two; being part of the private school world that some would call "privileged" at times, but still having to listen to his parents warnings about dealing with the police as a young Black man. Jonny also talks about why things are different for him now - how he has been called to activism in a new way during this political movement.
