On todays episode Mom and Me discuss all things Virgo. To better understand the sign, Jackie Turner who has a Virgo Sun and Aquarius Moon & Rising will be joining as we dive into her chart. Jackie Turner is a theatre captioner who lives in Las Vegas and regularly travels to a number of different cities as an accessibility provider.
She attended LVA (with Kate!) and graduated as a double major in Technical Theatre and Dance, and has a BFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Writing/Directing from Chapman University. Her technical theatre and writing background, mixed with her passion, love, and understanding of the performing arts have all contributed to fostering her current career path. She helped her mom, Vicki, grow their family’s business, Turner Reporting/CaptionsLIVE!, from what started out as a side gig into full-time work. She has now even trained other captioners in order to cover their flourishing calendar of events! Jackie continues to push herself artistically in not only the captioning world, but also as a writer who is currently editing an original limited-series script.
On a personal note, Jackie got married last month and enjoys spending her downtime binge-watching a multitude of different shows and docu-series, as well as puttering around the kitchen to finesse her vegan baking skills. Www.turnerreporting-captioning.com
