We're joined by Matt O'Mahoney, who's a fantastic storyteller and has a deep wealth of film knowlege. This episode we're discussing one of the most insane blank-cheque movies of the 90s. After the success of the original, Warner Brothers studio begged director Joe Dante "Please, we need a sequel, you have absolute power, as long as we can call it Gremlins 2!" And he took them at their word, making an anarchic mashup of Looney Tunes humour and creatures FX. We attempt a very civilized analysis but honestly, some Gremlins get in the booth with us and it all goes to hell.
