We're leaping into the French sci-fi future to rewatch The Fifth Element. Filmmaker and videographer, Jared MacGougan joins us to revisit his childhood favourite and how it's kind of a relic of its time(the 90s not 2350). We discuss how we first discovered it on TV, the imaginative world building and the special effects. Most importantly, we answer the large question hanging over this movie: What the hell is that black goo leaking out of Gary Oldman's forehead. Heads up! This episode is especially short because Will made a mistake while recording, so it's a bit of a Frankenstein episode.
