When things don't work out as we expected, there are those who take accountability and seek to learn and grow from the experience, and those who will try and explain it away with excuses and blame. In this episode I discuss how creating alternative explanations and excuses for failure and disappointing results can negate the opportunity to learn and grow; I share a six-step plan for how you can tackle such experiences and grow, strengthen and improve as a result, improving results and your life.

Recognising these thoughts for what they are, our mind trying to protect us from harm, danger and change is useful, but we also need to take appropriate action when confronted by them if we're to move forwards in life. In this episode I'll share how I've done that in my own life.
