The movie was written and directed by Stanley Kubrick. It was released in 1999 4 months after his passing. Some say there were 24 minutes removed by Warner Bros and also that there were edits made.
I believe that eyes wide shut is an insight into the lives behind closed doors of the hollywood elite and celebrities.
