Aura hails from the musically rich city of Philadelphia. She's spent most of her life as modern nomad and an Army brat. Her transient childhood gave her the opportunity to absorb music from various areas of the U.S. and the world. Her love of music brought her to turntablism. She's provided the musical backdrop for poetry slams, various art exhibits, b-boy jams, & sneaker exhibitions...proving herself a taste maker by rocking dance floors throughout Philadelphia. Needless to say, she has been able to hold her own amongst Philly's most legendary dj's. Her style or range isn't limited to a genre; she creates a sonic experience that takes folks on a soulful, eclectic journey ranging from classic R&B to trap.
