On this weeks episode, I was lucky enough to sit down with former AFL player Shaun Edwards! Edwards was drafted by Greater Western Sydney in 2011, where he played his debut year in the NEAFL (North East Australian Football League) before the club moved into the AFL in 2012. Shaun would go on to play over 20 games between the Giants and Bombers before being delisted and picked back up by the Sydney Swans ahead of the 2017 AFL season.
Unfortunately, Shaun was unable to play any games for the Swans, however, as Edwards mentions throughout our chat playing football at that stage was the last thing on his mind. Edwards and I spoke about the ups and downs of his AFL career, his current work with House of Darwin, growing up in the Northern Territory and so much more hope you enjoy!
