Question: if God came to visit many churches today in person, do you think He would be pleased with what He saw? Do you think He would applaud or approve of the worship services? More importantly, do you think He would be happy with the ATTITUDES and BEHAVIORS of the people who frequent His house and claim to love Him?
Well….back during the time of the prophet Amos, God made it CLEAR that He wasn’t too happy with the people or their worship towards Him. In fact, He sent Amos to tell them so….and the things Amos told the people should have shocked and embarrassed them, but it didn’t. I wonder if he’d get that same reaction from many churches today…..
