Troy Coward’s life as a business owner/actor took a serious turn in 2012, finding himself embroiled in one of the most gruesome murder cases in Western Australia’s history. The real life drama took everything from Troy; his construction business, investment properties and his pride leaving him homeless. A lawsuit against the police is still ongoing 8 years later. Today, Troy is co-founder of a mental health and suicide prevention foundation called, ‘Beacon Fight for Life’, leading him to run for a seat in Parliament in 2020.
