Leslie started off playing basketball, but after he touched a football he never looked back. He played semi pro in Europe for 6 years , moved back to the United States and played in college where he got his bachelors in exercise science and later on went back to the UK to acquire his masters in both strength and conditioning and sports performance. He still plays competitively with Arlington Soccer Association in Virginia. He now also runs his high-performance business - The Pureathlete Initiative. The brand was created to help athletes reach their full potential.
