Nolan works as a wildland firefighter in the summers for the state of Montana. He graduated from George Mason University with a history degree but took his life out west following his graduation to live in the mountains. He just received his EMT license and has enjoyed writing poetry in his off seasons in hope for publishing his work. He is passionate about protecting the west and giving back to the communities that he now calls home.
