There's a famous quote by Gandhi. Where he says "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." You hear this often come up. "I like Jesus, but I don't like the church." My question is, tell me about this Jesus that you like so much. Most don't know the Biblical Jesus. I want to challenge you today. This matters a lot, because eternity hangs in the balance. How does your image of Jesus align with how the Bible defines Jesus?
We're going to be reading from Matthew 1:18-25.
The Kingdom requires a King Jesus truly being a King of Kings and Lord of Lords with a supernatural conception, with a supernatural resurrection, with a supernatural affection, and some day, a supernatural return.
