Description

This week Zach and AK discuss the education system as many students return (virtually) to school for the first time since March. Why is there such a disparity amongst test scores and graduation rates between city, county, public and private schools? Is it the teachers? The willingness to learn? A combination of both or more factors? They dive into their own experiences with the education system as they grew up and what they valued as they made their way through the Pattonville school system and on to college.

What does the American education system actually teach and how do those students put those skills and that knowledge to use in the real world? Or does it even translate? They try to answer these questions and many more! Once you're finished with the episode let us know your thoughts! How can the school system adapt and change with the pandemic influencing how students with and without the proper resources learn?

We also are excited to celebrate passing 1000 listens on all of our episodes!!!!! Without each of you this isn't possible so thank you all for tuning in and we'll see you next week!
