<p>30-year-old Cyntoia Brown was sentenced for 51 years - effectively a life sentence - for the murder of a 43-year-old Nashville Real Estate mogul in 2004. Brown, 16 at the time was a sex trafficker working under an abusive pimp when she met Johnny Allen at a local fast food joint. Soon, Allen was found dead by a gunshot wound to the head. Brown was tried, convicted and sentenced for first-degree murder and robbery.</p>

<p>Brown's story has caught national attention. She is now fighting to convince Tennessee's departing governor to give her clemency and commute her sentence. Unfortunately the governor, Bill Haslam decided not to include Brown on his list of 11 people eligible to receive a pardon. What does this mean for Brown moving forward? On this episode, Host Brell gives her take on the drama.<p>
