Like the situation regarding the little boy found dead after being left to rot and be eaten by bugs in his bedroom while his horrible Mom chose to flee with the dude who MURDERED HIM, the tragedy at the Travis Scott Astroworld event had me thinking "what if that was my kid?"
While a lot of people like to talk about canceling Travis Scott over his seeming disregard for the safety of his fans -- and some of the blame should definitely lie with the performer and the event organizers -- my focus will be on the pathetic attempt by the Houston Police Department with making sure public safety measures were correctly implemented. I talk about what could have been done to avert this terrible situation.
