Our very first distinguished speaker in SkyGems Academy Podcast is Iain Riley based in Shanghai, China.
In Episode 1 of SkyGems Academy Podcast, Iain will be sharing his personal experiences, ideas and view points during the different phases of the Covid-19 pandemic and his views on the future of education.
Here’s some key highlights of Iain’s amazing story and experiences.
Iain was in Shanghai until 17 January 2020. During that time, it was the Chinese New Year period and China was having it’s Spring Festival holidays. Iain went back home to Scotland for his well deserved vacation and was in Scotland during the early stages of Covid-19 pandemic in China.
Iain managed to get back to Shanghai on 2 February 2020 before the international borders restrictions were being enforced by many countries.
Upon arrival in Shanghai, Iain had to adhere to the strict compliance of 14 days self-quarantine at home. Iain lived to tell and share with us all about his experiences.
