TOPIC: WAITING FOR GOD
BIBLE VERSE: Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
It is one thing to wait on God and another thing to wait for God.
Most people wait on God but only few wait for God. And that is why it looks as if some pray to God without receiving answers. To wait on God means fasting and prayer but waiting for God is patiently exercising your faith by believing that your answer are on the way, with your hope alive.
You may be surprise that some people after praying in the morning may forget their prayer point before 12 noon, which means they have no expectation. They are just fulfilling all righteousness.
The Bible said PRAY (wait on) and WATCH (wait for). Jacob waited on God and his prayer was answered but he had to wait for 21 days. What am I saying to you this morning? Don't just wait only on God, also wait for God. HE may not come too early but HE will never come late.
As you pray this morning I want you to wait for God throughout the day, be conscious of your request throughout the day. Let your faith be alive.
Don’t bother about waiting on God when you are not willing to wait for God.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace in faith to always wait for You and as I wait for you let my expectation be granted, in Jesus name, Amen.
ACTION POINT: Avoid Impatience, Learn To Trust In God.
