In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing A CHRISTMAS CAROL (1951) which you can find on Plex but also to buy/rent on Prime Video. Directed by Brian Desmond Hurst, from the screenplay by Noel Langley and comes from Charles Dickens classic tale of the same name. This is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge (Alastair Sim), who's lost his humanity but is then visited by the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley (Michael Horden), who's come to warn him that he should be a cautionary tale for Ebenezer and thats Ebenezer is in a race against time to change his ways, otherwise he will face an unspeakable eternity. He foretells the coming of 3 ghosts that will visit Ebenezer, with a lesson to be learned from each. This film clocks in at 1 h and 26m and is rated TV-PG. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
