In which the Mister joins me in reviewing ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE (2022), currently available on Prime. Written by Ximena García Lecuona, the film is directed by Billy Porter and stars Eva Reign as Kelsa and Abubakr Ali as Khal. The story follows a young, Gen Z trans girl named Kelsa (Eva Reign) as she embarks on her final year of high school. After her friend Em (Courtnee Carter) confesses she has a crush on classmate, Khal (Abubakr Ali) we discover that Khal actually likes Kelsa. In a story that felt very rooted in the human experience, strong performances and a great script come together to make this a satisfying and highly recommended watch. The film has a run time of 1 h and 36m and is rated PG-13. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
