In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing BLACK ADAM (2022) which is currently streaming on HBO Max, but also still in theaters. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and has screenplay credits to Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani, from characters by Bill Parker and C.C. Beck. This is the first and last story to focus on the Black Adam/Teth Adam character who lived 6000 years ago but then went into a tomb and was awakened in the present day. Dwayne Johnson is the titular character and is great as the anti hero in this superhero/action movie. The film is rated PG-13 and clocks in at 2 h 5 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
