In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing BLACK WIDOW (2021), currently streaming on Disney+ and in cinemas now.  Directed by Cate Shortland with a script written by Eric Pearons, the film chronicles the events after CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (2016) and follows Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), now a fugitive on the run who is trying to get her bearings and figure out her next steps.  While in hiding she gets correspondence from her sister and embarks on a race against time to help Yelena (Florence Pugh), reunite her "family" and stop the odious Dreykov from destroying more young lives and thwart his sinister plans.  Stellar action sequences, good FX work and strong performances make this a fun summer watch.  The film is rated PG-13 and the run time clocks in at 2 h 14 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
